Anyone know anything about a DBMS called Q(sic?)  I have a customer, a state 
agency here in New Jersey, that wants to migrate a Q application from a PRIME
box to a VAX.  They are extremely dissatisfied with PRIME/Q's performance and
functionality.

Regretably, the resident VAX RDBMS is ORACLE.  They do not want to use ORACLE 
consulting for the migration, however, so there should be a decent chunk of EIS 
for us.  We are to meet with them next week to discuss issues involved with 
migrating from PRIME/Q to ORACLE on the VAX.  

Allow me to note that this state agency, as well as many others here in NJ, 
standardized on ORACLE some years ago...some more or less against their wishes.
Many are now unhappy with ORACLE performance, cost of ownership, etc.  We plan 
to use next week's call not only as a migration opportunity, but as a chance to
begin to chip way at the state's Oracle "standard."  Any help will be much 
appreciated.
