Hi,
One of the requirement that a potential customer of ours has stated
in their RFP is the ability to update their current ADABAS database on
the IBM mainframe.
If we offer the solution of Natural/Rdb on VAX is there a possibility whereby
Natural2 running on VAX could read the data from Rdb and updates directly
to ADABAS on the IBM machine (assuming that the VAX machine is connected
to the IBM). Do we need any other software to be able to update ADABAS
on IBM. I heard that there is a Software called 'NET-WORK' by Software AG
that probably can do this. Is this true ?
If this is true then perhaps we don't need to write a special program
in Natural2 to do this.
If we cannot update directly from Natural2 program on VAX, what other
possibilities that we have ?
Any hints on this would be apppreciated.

| I believe that Natural/Rdb allows read/write access to Adabas/IBM.
But I suggest that you contact your local Software AG representative
for more details.
