Job Description/Responsibilities (work to be done/unique features of this  
position):                                                            

Experienced person able to manage the delivery of ADDS/CIM products through
all phases in compliance with the Corporate Phase Review Process. The work
includes the establishment/maintenance of a software vendor base, as well
as the integration of the ADDS/CIM products in the overall Corporate PDES
program in terms of product management and marketing. In addition, the
development of critical field liasons are required for successful definition
and delivery of PDES/STEP compliant products.

The following specific responsibilities need to be met:

. managing the phase review process for ADDS/CIM product deliverables,
  initially for the EXPRESS toolkit
. executing all product management tasks as identified in the Corporate
  phase review process, such as e.g. development of business plans, market
  requirements analysis, management of field test sites etc.
. development of PDES/STEP technology awareness in the European field
  and related strategic accounts
. develop and maintain a vendor base for ADDS/CIM product delivery 
  commitments, initially for the EXPRESS toolkit.
. involvement with CSOs, strategic for the delivery of ADDS/CIM products and
  architectures.

Experience and/or Educational Requirements (minimum qualifications):         

. broad based knowledge in the following domains:

  - CAD/CAM/CIM applications
  - database & dictionary concepts

. experience applying base technologies as e.g. databases in the development
  and/or integration of CAD/CAM/CIM applications.
. familiar with the principles of the corporate phase review process
. good understanding of the CAD/CAM/CIM market
. well developed skills fir cross-functional work to meet requirements
  for delivery of corporate s/w products.
. familair with Englsih (reading and writing)
. about 5 years of related experience

Note: Given excellent skills/experience within a subset of the
      above areas, training will be provided in the missing area
      of expertise.
