What do you mean "work with" ? Are you asking if Oracle will use DECnet DOS for the SQL*net driver ? Which piece of "Oracle" are you interested in .... the database, the forms package, the menu system, the design/dictionary products, Email, .... ??? ORACLE works with SQL*Net, their network environment which can layer
on most types of communications protocols including DECnet, TCP/IP,
VINES, Token ring, etc. Therefore ORACLE can layer on top of PATHWORKS
(DECnet-DOS, DECnet-OS/2, or DECnet-MAC).

Why not sell other tools like TRIM (please refer to 873). If they like
the tool, the migration to Rdb/VMS will be very easy.
