Who knows of some good logical database design tools? I've heard
DEFT and IDEF mentioned, but can't seem to find much about either.
Are there others? Are there better ones?

I position DECdesign and RDBexpert for Logical Database Design.
RDBexpert in particular supports the collection and reporting of
Transaction Defintions used during the analysis. It is then a very
simple task to create the Physical Database design by RDBexpert.
