    Since I don't have any knowledge about INGRES and its requirements,
    would appreciate for any advice.
    
    A customer who has VAX6310, VAX3600 and VAX8530, he installed INGRES 6.2
    with VMS V5.2 and the system runs fine on VAX6310 and VAX3100. 
    
    But failed on the VAX8530 with errors
    
    SYSERR: PB_READ in the backend: 0001:CL routine: general failure
    
    Is there anything missing or system parameters conflict? 
    
    But the same system runs fine on the other 2 systems.

	Hi Antonio, Sounds like Citibank, right? When you say Ingres 6.2 was installed on the 8530, was that an upgrade or a new installation? The only other thing I can think of is to check for hardware problems, like disk errors. Perhaps, one of the Ingres images has been corrupted? Have you tried re-installing the product? John.
