Could someone contrast the difference between the way Oracle and RDB operates in a Cluster? We need to contrast the two for a very important customer. They are receptive to looking at Rdb, as they are having severe performance difficulties with ORACLE - cluster performance is so bad that they are only using one node of the cluster and the other remains idle. (ORACLE recommended to them that they should just use a "networked" approach, and not use the cluster capabilities at all) Lynne Segnitz Detroit Sales Support

Lynne, There are numerous notes in this conference that discuss these features. The note before this (324.1) gives some detailed up-to-the-minute info on Oracle in clusters. John. |
