This question was asked in note 181 with no replies so here goes
again.
One of the best tools we could have is an ORACLE to VIA conversion.
Now, I don't know ORACLE but am lucky enough to have a set of
documentation.
From looking at SQL*FORMS, I see a similarity between it and RALLY
(this should start an active discussion). I also came across the
mechanisim for moving SQL*FORM from one vendor to another. Seems
there is a text file produce which describes the form and is used to
generate the binaries on another system.
My question is, has anyone looked at a SQL*FORMS to RALLY Conversion
tool? I know we don't have an IMPORT function in RALLY but I suspect
one could be written.
Think of the business this could generate!

Or, if all you want is SQL and forms, something that would convert SQL*FORMS to Rdb/VMS + VAXforms ? | |||||

Great suggestion, my friend... let us know when you've completed
the code!
