Hi all,
I am looking for benchmark results for performance of ACMS V3.0/Rdb
V3.0 against Oracle V6.0. Can anybody out there provide me with
such info.?
Thanks.

Have you checked with the benchmark centers ??? The manager's name
of the Los Angeles center is Rusty Fleming. Give him a call ...
he may be able to help since Oracle is on the same coast.

Florence,
In note 202 you asked for information on using Oracle with ACMS.
In note 206 you asked about recovery and backup.
In note 228 you ask about performance.
Is this for the same customer?
There are no published benchmarks that directly compare ACMS V3.0/Rdb
with Oracle V6.0. However, there are quite a number of notes in
this conference that talk about relative performance and try to
compare released performance results and the methods used to derive
the results.
Have you had a chance to look at all the notes about Oracle in this
conference?
Give me a call if you need further help.

If you can find a benchmark center manager who will admit to testing
Rdb vs. Oracle, I would be interested.
