    A major customer in New York has a UNIFY database on VAXen which
    has had longterm problems.  The situation is new to me, and I wondered
    if anyone new the following:
    
    1.) Is UNIFY in the doghouse with us a corporation?  (discussions
    with their Systems Engineer revealed serious concern about the changes
    in the Digital/Ingres relationship).
    
    2.) Is the product notoriously unstable?  I find 2 notes in this
    conference about it and neither refers to any problems with it.
    
    3.) Has anyone heard anything about their recent release - OPUS
    (not the cartoon) - and any pointers to accounts that are using
    it AND have converted to it from a prior release of UNIFY?
    
    
    We are in a bit of a pressure situation about resolving some of
    the problems with the account and the UNIFY product(rel. 3.2).
    I would appreciate being able to MAIL anyone who is familiar with
    the product/company.
