Help on INTERGRAPH, DMRS DB-LINK needed. Does anyone know about a SW module to integrate/link between our Rdb and INTERGRAPH's DMRS database? Intergraph has this code, but are not likely to sell it, as Intergraph will try to convert Rdb customers to their own database. Intergraph seems to be a competitor, even though their equipment is running VAX code. They only buy a VAX processor from us, and supply their own peripheral hw. Customers states that such an interface would be very good for them and DEC as well. Jan Langevad, Segment marketing, Denmark.

Intergraph were developing their version of SQL, which is what I had heard from Intergraph.Even tho they are a large DEC OEM, they are becoming more and more competitive with us, especially with the Clipper Chip based workstations. They also understand how important it is to own the database. I will send you info off-line about another account that has been actively working the DMRS interoperability issue. |
