I'm looking for some info from about Professional Oracle. A customer
referenced an article which appeared in a trade publication called
"Computer Software News". It stated that "DEC will market a special
DECnet-ready version of Professional Oracle and Networkstation Oracle.
Q1. Do anyone know anything about either one of these products mentioned above?
Q2. Does Professional Oracle and SQL*Net run under VMS Services? Under
DECnet-DOS? Please specify versions.
Q3. If the answer to Q2 part 1 is "NO", then is it because Prof. Oracle
does not use RMS files and VMS Services (prior to LAST protocol in V2)
can only access RMS Stream Files or RMS Sequential Fixed-length record
files?

Refer to the August 22 issue of Sales Update. There is an update
article by the PCS group explaining these MS DOS products & the
DECDirect distribution channel.
