| None of them were ever 'the DSRI architect', though they are ex-Rdb/ELN
folks and one of them was certainly one of the 2 principals in the
initial DSRI definition.

25.3 | not much info, but ... | CREDIT::CAMERON | | Wed Aug 26 1987 19:33 | 11 |
| Have you tried calling InterBase and asking for marketing literature
and a reference site that you could call. This would allow you
to make a list of 'strong points' about the product. That will
provide you with half the story.
From my understanding, ( I have not seen it ) it is a good system.
It is very smart about the way it uses DSRI. I can't believe that
it could be much better than Digital's DSRI products. I have no idea
how well it is selling or how solid the company is.

25.5 | Give them a call..... | GYCSC1::APPS | $ SET OLTP /NAME=VAX ACMS | Thu Sep 10 1987 21:08 | 9 |
| If you give them a call at (617)649-3977 they will send you, in
a very short space of time, a large amount of literature which I
am not going to attempt to paraphrase here.
Should anything come of some enquiries going on here as to the use
of the software in a mixed-vendor environment (SUN, APOLLO, DEC),
I'll post a note.
