| I've just added SYBASE as a keyword at Hal's request. He's just
put in a note on the subject.
I'm putting this reply in beacause the rest of us seem to have been
forgetting about using them when writing. OK, this is currently
such a small conference that they're not needed; but I'm hoping
that it'll grow up to be big and strong like some of its relatives.
Having said that, I won't be here to create any over the next couple
of weeks since I'm on holiday :-). But you can add the plentiful
supply of existing keywords to the new entries you create.

| OK, but what if the system says that you don't have the right
priviliges to create new keywords if you ask him (or it, or her)
to do it ???

| Whoops! As Andrew is out the next two weeks, I'll have someone look into
that. Sorry about that.

| Whoops again. I misread your comment. There are two facets to keywords,
CREATION of new ones, and ADDDITION of an existing keyword to a note. I
took you comment/complaint to be about the latter.
CREATION is restricted as in most conferences to control the keywords
that are created. ADDITION is not. If you need a keyword that is not
defined in the conference, either put the request here or send mail to
Andrew Watson.
You can and should however, add existing keywords to your notes.

| Thanks to .2 for interest in keywords and to .4 for:

I'm back from holiday and waiting for your call if you need new
keywords. My reason for restricting keyword creation is to try to
maintain consistency, that is, to avoid one person using the keyword
RTI while others use INGRES.
Andrew.
