    This conference has been set up to exchange information on competitors
    of Rdb/VMS.
    
    My main hopes for it are that:
    
    -	it will relieve some of the overcrowding on the RDB conference,
    	which is growing at such a rate that it's difficult to follow.
    
    -	it will include many stories of successful Rdb/VMS sales and
    	implementation (but maybe warnings of our competitor's strengths
    	are equally useful, if not equally cheering).
    
    I'll set up keywords; see note 2 for the initial list and for updates
    to it. If you have any other ideas about the conduct of the conference,
    please mail me or reply to note 3.
