I'm using VAX DOC V1.2B and have found that my books to not "page break" at <HEAD2> and <HEAD3> like some doc's I'm using off the consolidated doc distribution. First, what am I doing wrong? I want page breaks at <HEADx>. Also, how can I force a page break in Bookreader? My command: DOC BLAH.SDML ONLINE.REFERENCE BOOKREADER/CONT

Hi Red, Try using the <SET_ONLINE_TOPIC> tag. In the release notes for V1.2B you'll find a nice write-up. In Bookreader, the 'pages' are topics. Therefore, it breaks the content up by topics. The <SET_ONLINE_TOPIC> tag takes one argument. That argument can be CHAPTER, HEAD1, HEAD2, HEAD3, MASTER, or NOMASTER. If, for example, you use <SET_ONLINE_TOPIC>(HEAD2), your document will break at chapter, head1 and head2. By default, chapters, first level heads, appendices, parts, templates, title pages, prefaces and glossaries are topics. Supplying no argument to the tag ensures the default topics.
