I need to create a document including capture screens formatted in VAX Document - no problem there. But I also need to create from the same source file an help library and here is the problem. I have no knowledge on how to create help files. - Is it possible from the same source to get a .PS or .HLP output? - What are the tags required to produce HLP? - How do I structure my document? - Etc. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for your support. Joelle

Hi Joelle, VAX DOCUMENT *does* support the creation of HLP files. Topics 1870 and 1871 in the DOCUMENT (CLOSET::DOCUMENT) notes file deal explicitly with the HELP doctype. The documentation for VAX DOCUMENT T2.0 in PS and Bookreader formats describes the tags and other details of the HELP doctype. The software and documentation for T2.0 are all announced in the DOCUMENT notes file (topic 2). - Philip |
