381.1 | Try QUEEN::DECWRITE | VAXUUM::GRANT | I've saved $2731.50 since I quit smoking. | Wed Oct 31 1990 12:21 | 7 |
| Hi,
I'm afraid I don't have an explanation for you. But, if you ask
your question in the QUEEN::DECWRITE notes conference, you may get what
you're looking for.
Good luck,

| Although I haven't done it myself, I understand that all you do is pull down
the File menu in DECwrite and select Export to Bookreader.
There is also a Bookreader style that you'll probably want to apply to make the
output more readable.
Note that the DECwrite conference was just "restarted" - that is, the conference
was archived and a new one started with the same name. The old conference is at
QUEEN::DECWRITE_ARCHIVE_1 and has more info in it on Bookreader output than the
new version of the conference does. Open DECWRITE_ARCHIVE_1 and do a DIR/TITLE=
BOOKREADER to get info on the Bookreader style and Export to Bookreader, etc.
Good luck!

| Nina is basically correct. The way to get the Bookreader files is:
File => Import/Export => Export to Bookreader
This produces both the book and bookshelf files you'll need.
The wr_manb.doc_style is the Bookreader oriented style file that ships
with V1.1. When you open a new document this would be the Style File to
Use, chosen from the Other (Style File to Use).
This style file emulates the Manual style file that corresponds to the
VAX DOCUMENT DW_END doctype. The Bookreader version has larger point
sizes, pages, etc.
See the BOOKREADER notesfile for more information. I can't rememeber
the node offhand.

The BOOKREADER conference is on BULOVA. Press KP7 or Select to add
BULOVA::BOOKREADER to your notebook.
