350.0. "I can't display figures" by CURARO::COSCIA () Thu Jun 14 1990 04:20
Hello,
we will ship DECwindows on line doc with version 2.1, and in the last week
i tried to build DECwindows User's Guide. Everything works fine, but figures
don't appear at all!! I think most of them are informal figures; they shouldn't
need <reference> tag should they?
By the way my .LIS file is ok, there are no error messages.
tks in advance for your help

| What format are your graphics in? The Bookreader displays only RAGS
metafiles and FSE bitmaps. If your graphics files are in any other
format, they will not be displayed.

| It's not that we don't believe you but... it helps if you post
the .lis or .log file.
What version of Document are you using? If it's pre V1.2b not all
messages made it into the .lis file check your .log file. If your
figures were present before but have disappeared in this last build
check to see if the figure files themselves have been messed with.
Lastly there should be a message in the .lis/.log saying whether a figure
was included or not.
