    Hi,
    
    I have some comments about the ONLINE.REFERENCE doctype:
    
    1. Numbers in numbered lists don't  have periods - I think it looks
       awful (this was changed in the CUP family doctypes -  I believe -
       because most people don't like them without the period.
    
    2. The <syntax> tag output is not bolded in the online display. It
       is bolded for hardcopy and should be for on line. 
    
    3. The alphabetic list that is nested in a numbered list is not lined
       up under the text - it sticks out:
    
       1. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
          xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    
        a. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

	Thanks, Ruth-Ellen. We'll look into those. One of the things we are investigating is adopting the CUP_ONLINE doctype as the default online doctype (and that may automatically solve some of these problems!). Mary
