Hi, The log file tells me that five .decw$bookfig figure files were successfully included, and when I check the chapter online, the windows for these five figures popup ok (and are the right size -- big), but there is no picture in the window. Where or what should I look for to solve this? Thanks, Kate

Hi Kate, Give me a pointer to one of the figure files and I'll check it out. One thought are there scroll bars and if so did you scroll all the way to make sure the actual figure wasn't off screen. Mike

Mike: I'll copy the five figures to the following public area on DECWET: decwet::doclib$:[osptg-public]. All figure file names start with zk- and have the decw$bookfig file extension. Yes, the figures are really large and have scroll bars both to the right and down. I scrolled to the right, but not down, although the space left showing on the down scroll bar was small, so I don't *think* the figure was hiding at the bottom -- I'll double check on Monday though. Thanks for your help, Kate

I grabbed two of them and they both came out fine for me. So what baselevel are you using to build them and what version Decwindows and Bookreader are you using ? VMS or ULTIX Bookreader? Mike

We're running the Oct. 27 baselevel. I have ULTRIX/UWS 3.1/2.1 installed on my workstation, but I run Bookreader from a window onto our VMS cluster. The cluster is running VMS 5.3, so it has the latest (VMS-V2) Bookreader. I can try looking at the book via the ULTRIX Bookreader...? What else should I check? Thanks, Kate |
