226.0. "Title page copyright different from copyright date" by DECWET::OSHEA (Kate O'Shea) Sun Nov 19 1989 14:50
Hi -- I'm working on an online document that is copyrighted
for three years in a row: 1988, 1989, 1990. So, on the copyright
page, I have:
<copyright_date>(1988, 1990\Digital Equipment Corporation)
to indicate the first and last years of the copyright.
However, the copyright on the title page, which is evidently picked up
from the system date, is 1989. Seems to me, the copyright date on the
title page should be picked up from the <copyright_date> tag and not
from the system date. It looks pretty weird to have 1989 on the title
page, and 1988, 1990 on the copyright page.
Can this be fixed?

| Yes, this can be done. I'll put it on the list and look into it.
Thanks,
