Ok I admit it, I'm confused. What I want to do is install all that is required to start running DOCUMENT version 1.2 to produce ONLINE.HANBOOKs. I would also like to use the OMLINE_CLEANUP.EXE to reduce the amount of time taken to convert existing hardcopy documents. So far I have had little success. Could some king soul save me some of the time I don't have by explaining how to install the doctypes, online tools, and so on ? John Carpenter MIACT Birmingham

John, If you've read note 64.10 that announces the latest kit for the bookbuilding tools and you're still having problems installing the tools, what is it about the process you don't understand? Maybe I can help clear it up for you. As far as ONLINE_CLEANUP.COM goes, I'm afraid I've never used it. Someone else could probably help you out better with that question. Wayne

Note 64.10 also contains pointers to information about the VAX DOCUMENT V1.2 kit. A search on "cleanup" in this conference reveals some 10-12 notes that deal with online_cleanup.com. Notes 16, 17, and 90 (and their replies) appear to be the most information about this utility. Mary

Thanks for the replies, I have now found out what to do. Bookreader is up and running smoothly so far. John |
