196.0. "Text processing errors since going from V1.1 to V1.2A" by CLUSTA::BINNS () Mon Sep 18 1989 12:34

We're having trouble building online. These are books that just went out as
hard copy, and which built for online with the files we sent to production.

Now we get a series of text processor errors, primarily the "INSERTED" and
"ONEOFTWO" (the former with the consequent "SHOWCONTEXT" error, the latter with
the consequent "IGNORED" and "SHOWCONTEXT" errors. At 30, we bomb.

Unfortunately, we are subject to three simultaneously occurring variables since
hard copy was produced:

1. We moved from one physical location and cluster to another.
2. We went from DOCUMENT V1.1 to V1.2A.
3. The production group at our former location made changes to the files.

We don't know if any or all of these changes are the cause of our problems.

Can someone help us - soon?

196.1Need a little more info...NAVIGO::GRANTI've saved $2119.00 since I quit smoking.Mon Sep 18 1989 13:055
Could you post (or send to VAXUUM::GRANT) the .LIS or .LOG file? I'll start
checking into the problem as soon as I can.

Thanks,
	Wayne
196.2Missing some fixes?NAVIGO::GRANTI've saved $2121.00 since I quit smoking.Tue Sep 19 1989 09:5917
	After looking at your .LOG file, it appears that the cluster you're
on now may not have all the latest/greatest software fixes. The first thing
I noticed was the undefined <VALID_BREAK> message. This problem is discussed
in the VAXUUM::DOCUMENT notes conference, topic 2099.* and I believe the fix
is discussed in 2099.7.

	The next problem I noticed was the missing '}' and \spacingasis
stuff. This problem was discussed in topics 2420.* and 2367.7 of the same
conference.

	My suggestion is that either you or whoever supports your system read
those notes and upgrade your system. If you're still having problems, please
get it touch with me again.

	Hope this does the trick for you...
