If LIBRARY.DECW$BOOKSHELF contains a blank line the following error will be encountered and the BOOKREADER will not come up. This was really tough to figure out! When the blank line is removed everything is fine. This is precisely why editing the bookshelf files is not encouraged (technically, it's not supported). In the future, the bookshelf will be a binary file and you will not be able to edit it. In the nearer future, there will be a bookshelf doctype which will create a bookshelf file from an .sdml file. joe | |||||
