emphasizes the company's commitment to online documentation. While
the Bookreader application and the layered product documentation sets
were not mentioned specifically, recognition should be given to all

VMS Documentation Now On Line
VMS documentation is now available on line, giving programmers,
software developers, and system managers easy access to VMS
technical information. Using the DECwindows interface, they can
now program in one window and display documentation in an adjacent
window --- all on the same screen.
Packaging 30,000 pages of text and graphics onto a single compact
disc, the VMS Online Documentation Library gives VMS users desktop
access to the full library of VMS documentation --- roughly
equivalent to 15-feet of office shelf space.
