    A couple questions Is it consistent? Did you try it for hardcopy?
    What version VMS are you running? Is anyone else experiencing similar
    problems on your system or are you standalone? This is the third
    instance(that we know about) of out of sync/bogus error messages
    all of which just started happening this week. Any thing else you
    can think of will be appreciated because we haven't been able to
    reproduce here.

The PostScript version of this book builds just fine.

I'm running the latest version of VMS.

    See note 312 if that doesn't help please post the complete logfile,
    what version of VMS you're running, your page file quota and mail a 
    pointer to the 3 dvi files.
