Since BOOKREADER files work quite well on magnetic disk, has any thought been given to selling selected online documentation that will reside on magnetic disk rather than CDROM? I realize that online documentation takes up a lot of disk space and there might be a problem controlling customers making copies of such BOOKREADER files. I can't help but think that there might be a demand by certain customers who only want one or two selected documents online and who do not want to bother with setting up a CDROM reader and server. Just a thought, Ken

The customers are free to move data from the CD to any/all magnetic disks but we have no plans to deliver the originals in any form other than the corporate standard distribution medium --- CDrom. Services can offer materials on other media but I think customers will be surprised at the price once we establish more accurate media costs reflecting the underlying manufacturing costs. - greg |
