HEllo, I have installed BL11 of DW and the FT2upd bookreader. When I run the bookreader application I have the following error message: Can't open font DEC-ADOBE-Helvetica-Bold-R-Normal-_-*-140-75-75-P-*-DEC-ISOLATIN1* : no such file or directory. It looks to be general for many applications. I've assign the logical name DECw$font to sys$common:<decw$font>, but nothing has changed. I still don't know what is wrong and what to do. Thanks for helping me. PS: I couldn't put this problem in BULOVA::DECWINDOWS. What's going on with this node. In France we couldn't reach all this area ? Bye Best regards Myrna

Looks like you have a baselevel mismatch. Because of a change in font naming conventions the FT2 bookreader only works with Decwindows field test 2 update (DECWFT051) and bookbuilding tools with the NOV 11 date. Mike | |||||

Mike is correct, it is a mismatch due to a change in font names with DECwindows FT2 Update. He meant to say that the FT2 UPDATE bookreader only works with Decwindows FT2 Update (DECWFT051) and NOV 11 bookbuilding tools. The FT2 bookreader is INCOMPATIBLE with DECwindows FT2 Update. joe |
