25.0. "Hardcopy of "Coding Files for...Bookreader"?" by CDROM::DUPREZ () Wed Nov 02 1988 13:10

    Hello all,

    	Where can I find a hardcopy (perish the thought) version of
    the latest and greatest "Coding Files for the Online Bookreader"?
    I have it online, but would like to obtain hardcopy to pass on to
    others.

                                                Thanks,
    						Roland

    RE: .1  "pointer?"

    Not only does VAXUUM::KITS_:[DOCUMENT.V11]WRITER_GUIDELINES.LN03 seem
    to have vanished, but I think .0 is looking for something called
    "Coding Documentation Source Files for the DECwindows Bookreader".

    Is there a pointer for that?

    That was the Nov baselevel. For the Jan baselevel, I built a
    .PS file (the graphic that I was using was not available
    in sixel format, only in Postscript format). The pointer to
    that file is in the Jan baselevel notice, note 64.1. I'll
    repeat it here:

25.4Where's the latest copy?CRBOSS::LEMONSAnd we thank you for your support.Fri Jul 13 1990 15:017
Is a newer copy of 'Coding ...' available? The Bookreader version I have is
dated October 27, 1989, and contains a reference in section 1.1, second
paragraph to topic 209.* in this conference; this topic no longer exists.
This prompts me to wonder what else has changed.

Thanks!

    Refer to note 270 in this conference. It announced the availablility
    of the latest version of VAX Document (V1.2-B). At that time, the
    online bookbuilding tools were merged with VAX Document. The
    documentation with that kit is the latest that's available. Be aware
    though that the documentation with that kit is for the software in that
    kit, not the software version that you're using.

So has 'VAX DOCUMENT Writer's Tool Kit Notes for DEC Internal Users' become the
replacement for 'Coding Documentation Source Files for the DECwindows
Bookreader'?

Thanks,

    Yes, the writer's toolkit notes have expanded to encompass the guide to
    coding source files, and some other articles that were separate before
    V1.2-B, as well.
