Exactly which doctype-specific tags does the ONLINE doctype support? It seems based on the SOFTWARE doctype family, with the addition of <online_popup> and <set_online_topic>, which are described in the Coding Documentation Source Files for the DECwindows Bookreader.

The global tags documented in the DOCUMENT User's Guide, Vol 1, are supported plus the reference template tags documented in Vol 2. At the moment, tags that have been developed for internal doctypes (e.g., Ada) are not supported, but that will be changing. The first priority for online documentation was DECwindows and VMS documents, so the tags that support them were the first ones to be implemented. | |||||

I think there are some special tags for the LPA doctypes. If we are switching from LAYERED to these, it will probably be important to get the LPA tags into ONLINE. Marty |
