9.2Reading, UK - first passUKEDU::SHONEKeith Shone @RKA 830-4074Thu Dec 13 1990 10:1931
    I found the flow of this chapter OK.
    My nits, typos and other observations are below.

    NOTE: These are my feelings etc. not of the UK as a whole.

    I comment on typos etc on instructor pages as well as customer pages.
    Instructors deserve to have unambiguous, correctly spelled and
    technically accurate information too! :-)

    I felt this chapter needed some basic definitions. I pondered over
    suggesting a keyboard diagram for classroom discussions.

    Could a reasonably generic keyboard (VT200 series?) diagram be added
    as an appendix? Presumably under modularity these things are available
    anyway, to be added as desired ;-)

    Some basic details like size of screen, what a cursor does and what an
    audible alarm is for?

Page	Observation
----    -----------

1-10	Replace "Represses ..." with a cleaner description
	e.g. Stops the data flow to screen or paper. Output
	     is routed to an electronic waste bin.

1-11a	VAXnotes - I'm seeing it spelled like this lately.
	Is this its new name or should it still be VAX Notes?

1-15	Callout 6 - the key box should contain KP7 not PF7
9.3Chapter removed from courseSUPER::ROUNDSKristin Rounds, DTN 381-1066Tue Apr 30 1991 07:429
Because the course was too long for three days, this chapter has been
removed.

- SET/SHOW TERMINAL material has been moved to "Issuing Commands"

- DEFINE/KEY has been moved to "Customizing Your Working Environment"
  (new chapter 9)

- Set-Up is now in the Operator course
