Your EPM has (or will shortly have) a copy of Corporate Standard 11.1, which deals with security of VMS systems connected to the EASYNET, I suggest you read the first three sections; if you are responsible for a stand alone system, read the entire document. This is true for all staff. Basically; if you have no extended privileges, then you should not notice any difference. If you have extended privileges, then there may be some impact. If you are using an account that does not have a valid account form, then you may not be using it for much longer. If you are following the rules; you will be OK. Peter. |
