DECWrite V2.0 will be installed in  the next few days on all of our clusters,
as well as the PC's.

It also available for the Ultrix boxes, if the owners of them wish to install
it too.

This version is almost identical for all the platforms, and is particularly
impressive on the PC's. It is very easy to transfer the files to/from
them PC's, and it does run on the noteboo and the laptops.

The user interface is changed slightly, but is now easier to use.

    If you have problems starting DECwrite, or get a "Unable to open
    DECW$SYSTEM_DEFAULTS:WRITE$UI.UID" message, you may have the wrong 
    languageset up on your workststation.
    
    You must have "British English" as your selected langauage in the
    System Manager/Options/Language pull down menu.
