I would like some ideas and inspiration for a project I'm doing for my
final year at Polu. It's basically a 'console' type system for VMS
system/network management where the operator or whatever can see a
picture of the network topology and can disable/enable circuits/access
to and from various nodes and all stuff like that without going through
NCP/SYSMAN/SYSGEN etc...
So, if anyone has any suggestions as to other stuff I could include the
ideas would be gratefully accepted! As usual, there may be a beer or
three in it for the contributors of the best ideas! But, it may be a
few months before you get the afforementioned beverage! =;*)

Have a look at DEC Message Transport System Monitor ( MTS ). I
believe it is available from assets ..
