Here is the current plan for upgrading CURRNT...
CURRNT will close down for normal full backups on Tuesday, January 8th at
5:30 pm
I.S. will then begin the EASE upgrade after Backups are complete, and
will complete the upgrade the next morning.
By the time CDD V4.2A and PASCAL V4.1 have been installed, along wtih
other systems tailoring, then the CURRNT cluster should (with a bit of
luck) be available around lunchtime or early afternoon on Wednesday 9th.
However, I'd suggest you plan to be without CURRNT all day; that way you'll
get a pleasant surprise if it comes up early.
Please create extracts of your RDB and CDD stuff before the upgrade;
this may save you time afterwards.
Please let me or Keith Davies know if this will cause you a major problem.
PASTIT will be upgraded in early March; more details nearer the time.
