    I have asked I.S. to install EASE V5.3 on CURRNT on Tuesday
    morning, 3rd July.
    
    The system should be available by early afternoon, barring major
    problems.
    
    I selected Tuesday morning as full backupsare performed on Monday
    evening, and we need an EASE V5.3 support environment at the
    beginning of the EASE migration window.
    
    If you have comments or concerns, please either post them here,
    or mail me on OVAL::RUSSELLP.

	As you may (or not!) have noticed, CURRNT is still running EASE V5.1-1. We had a couple of interesting problems, which we now have resolutions to. We will therefore try again next Tuesday (10th), and hope it goes cleanly this time. Peter.

	Well, maybe DOCUMENT V1.1 is bundled into EASE V5.3 . . . If that's the case, ask James to re-install V1.2-B. Peter (who can't easily check the EASE List over a slow modem line)

	nope, it's supposed to be V1.2-B for Ease V5.3 at lease it was at the last reckoning !

	Danial will install DOCUMENT V1.2B as soon as he's got hold of a kit. The EASE version of DOCUMENT is 1.1, but as we've been using 1.2B for many months, we'll upgrade (again!).
