    Although this is VERY short notice I thought it best to at least
    post a warning.
    
    The TK70 on SWEEP is rather poorly at the moment so it is expected
    that a nice man from Field Service will be arriving in the near
    future to perform the relevant surgery to cure it. 
    
    During the operation it will (unfortunately) be necessary to take
    SWEEP down. I hope that this will be only for a short time but even
    so this will stop everyone with a VS3100 hanging off SWEEP to stop
    work.

    Be prepared for SWEEP to go down with a very short warning!!!

	All being well, sometime today or tomorrow morning. We're building some microvaxen now. Of course, at this stage, we're just putting VMS on them; I understand a "prioritisation meeting" is taking place this afternoon about the kit we have available.... Peter.

	er....don't think the "today or tomorrow" is likely any more.... there were problems linking the machines together to boot off one node.. as all apart from two have only 4 megs of memory, that may well be the problem !
