302.0. "TBX: New clusterwide definition" by NECK::THOMPSON (Jerry Thompson (7)781-4421) Mon Dec 04 1989 15:20
TThe ADG toolbox directory (TBX:) has been added to the DNS namespace
and the definition of TBX altered to search the TBX: directory on the three
clusters FUTURS/CURRNT and PASTIT.
TTo access the directories from other nodes using DFS add the following
commands to sys$startup:DFS$SYSTARTUP.com
$ DFSCP mount/system sale_serv.eur.uk.adg.local.FUT_TBX FUT_TBX /vol=fut_tbx
$ DFSCP mount/system sale_serv.eur.uk.adg.local.CUR_TBX CUR_TBX /vol=cur_tbx
$ DFSCP mount/system sale_serv.eur.uk.adg.local.PAS_TBX PAS_TBX /vol=pas_tbx
aand then redefine the TBX logical name as
$ DEFI/SYS TBX disk$FUT_TBX:[000000],disk$CUR_TBX:[000000],disk$PAS_TBX:[000000]
If your node is part of a cluster then you should add "/devi=dfscxxxx"
to each of the MOUNT commands so that each node in the cluster mounts the same
volume number. (xxxx is a 4 digit number not used by any other DFS device).
