266.0. "CURRNT - more like squashed grape !" by CURRNT::DAW (VTX does it with pages !!) Mon Aug 07 1989 10:30
We seem to be having an annoyingly increasing amount of problems
with the CURRNT cluster at the moment:
o Accounts expiring with no warning
o Passwords expiring with no warning
o Disk space plummeting to very few blocks (careless users ?)
o System hanging/crashing regularly
o System being taken down with NO warning
o Applications not starting up on reboot
o Queues not being started on reboot
I realise that when control of the system management of the cluster
returns to ADG, we'll be able to monitor/control the situation
a lot better, but in the meantime are we going to have to put up
with the problems, or is something being done - i.e. CURRNT being
monitored ?
Just curious !
