On Saturaday 17th December 1988. The Cluster configuration at The
Crescent was change to take advantage of the new 8700 and to reallocate
processor resource to the appropriate cluters. After consultinf
ADG management it was decided to make the following changes :

3 x VAX-11/785 MILE not replaced
PASTIT 1 x VAX 8250 2 x VAX 8530

ORFUL 1 x VAX 8530 2 x VAX-11/785
1 x VAX 8700
We apologies for not giving any prior notice of the implementation
of the changes; and therefore any inconvience these changes may cause.
But after a lengthy discussion, we decide the immediate benefit
to number of user current being hampered by insufficent resources,
out weight the inconvience that may be caused by this quick action.
