I have now spent the best part of an hour rining 4040 trying to
get help. Is there anyone there? Have they been spirited away by
those in Digital upset with their performance. I liked it when they
took my badge number. Now no-one cares!!

I know how you feel, I have been ringing 4040 since 9:00am this
morning and I am getting the same response.
What I would like to know is - who do we raise this problem
with???

This problem should no longer exist. It has been found that there
was a problem with the telephone system (i.e. the wiring) that has
now been corrected.
