112.0. "Sixel to Postscript Conversion" by FOOT::MARSHALL_SI () Tue Jan 19 1988 15:59
Hello there DOCUMENT bods.
As you are probably aware, until we obtain the new
license for LN03 document fonts, it is incredibly difficult to
include sixel files within documentation.
In my aim to please (and because of beaucoup de hassle)
I have discovered a work-around that enables the conversion of
sixel files into postscript format. It is as yet not totally
fool-proof and care is needed when using it.
This conversion will enable documents be created with
postscript output and printed on the LPS40 queue POSTSCRIPT_EYE .
The command line is:
SIXTOPS [qualifiers] filename[.SIX]
The only help available is that which came with the
files and can by viewed by typing the file:
DOC$TOOLS:SIXTOPS.DOC
At present this fascility is only available on the FUTURES
cluster until we discover how useful it is.
