26.1 | Self teach typing??? | RDGE28::KEW | Jerry Kew dtn 830-4373 | Tue Aug 26 1986 11:06 | 11 |
| Would there be any chance of us getting hold of the self teach typing
course, as I understand it, from tracking METOO::TOOLSHED, it is not
available as a network kit, but rather it has to be purchased from Edu
Services, for what they describe a a nominal fee :-)

26.4 | A request for KC the moderator. | VULCAN::PLATT | | Tue Aug 26 1986 16:04 | 17 |
| Im not sure if this is the right place to put this note, but her
goes anyway.
Kim Craven is moderator to a conference on VULCAN relating to the
PMW ( Project Management Workbench ) and would like to have it left
on VULCAN if at all possible.
As the conference has a wide circulation this might not be such
a bad idea and would cause little extra loading on VULCAN in its
new role.
Any objections...?
Yours,
Pete' Platt.

26.5 | Can't leave it on VULCAN I'm afraid... | RDGE28::HAYES | Ian Hayes, ext. 4992 | Thu Aug 28 1986 10:26 | 7 |
| Yes, sorry VULCAN will not be available for that sort of purpose.
What I suggest is that we put the conference onto the cluster with
all our other conferences and leave a small write-locked conference
with the same name on VULCAN pointing any readers to its new location.
Ian.

Re : .2 LSE V2, SCA V1
I would like to check that these products have been released.
As far as I am aware LSE V2 is still on the drawing board, however
LSE V1.3-16 was released in april.
The SCA V1.0 is only currently being supported in BLISS and it
isnt even in field service yet! It is apparently only available
for testing on its native machine/cluster. It will not be released
until at least one langauge can support it, BLISS being the
one they are working on.
I would very much like to see these products here so can someone
cross check these facts?
P.S. Can we have LSE 1.3 until the matter is resolved? The current
version installed is 1.2-12!
Danish.
