4.0. "FTSV - File Transfer Spooler - Available" by RDGE28::HAYES (Ian Hayes, ext. 4992) Mon Apr 07 1986 17:06

    FTSV (the spooled file transfer utility) is installed on RDGE28.

    It is very simple to use, no more difficult than VMS copy in fact!

    There appears to be no documentation with the kit, however there
    is HELP from both DCL (HELP FTSV) to get you started, and from within
    FTSV itself which is more comprehensive.

    Basically, all you need to do is to create a symbol to invoke the
    FTSV image:-
    			FTSV:==$FTSV

    There is also a callable interface so that you can use it from within
    a program.

    Try it - you'll like it!!

4.2Documentation on FTSVRDGE28::JANJUATue Apr 15 1986 10:1216
    	Re : 4.0

    	A correction to say that a user guide on FTSV does exist.

    	It contains all the information on using FTSV, including

    	details on how to use the callable interface. The guide

    	also contains details of error codes and their associated

	messages.

    Why not put it in the "unsupported toolbox"? For info on how to
    do this, see the conference TOOLBOX on RDGE28::

4.4Documentation now available in TBXRDGE28::HAYESIan Hayes, ext. 4992Tue Apr 22 1986 17:0611
    No sooner said ...

    The documentation for FTSV is now in the unsupported section of
    the ISTOOLBOX, referenced via logical TBX.

    There are two manuals, FTSVSMG.MEM - a system manager's guide
    		and	   FTSVUG.MEM - the user's guide.

    Pleasant reading
