		Zion, praise thy Saviour singing
		  hymns with exultation ringing,
		  praise thy King and Shepherd true.

		Honor Christ, thy voice upraising,
		  who surpasseth all thy praising;
		  never canst thou reach his due.

		Let the Bread, life-giving, living,
		  be our theme of glad thanksgiving,
		  now in truth before thee set;

		As of old the Lord provided when
		  the Twelve, divinely guided, at
		  the holy table met.

		What he did, at supper seated, Christ
		  ordained to be repeated, his
		  memorial ne'er to cease;

		His command for guidance taking, bread
		  and wine we hallow, making thus
		  our Sacrifice of peace.

		Full and clear sing out thy praising,
		  gracious hymns of joy upraising
		  in thy heart and soul today;

		For today the new oblation of the
		  new King's revelation bids us
		  feast in glad array.

		Very Bread, good Shepherd tend us,
		  Jesus of thy love befriend us,
		  Lord refresh us and defend us,
		  thine eternal goodness send us
		  in the land of life to see:

		Thou, who all things canst and
		  knowest, who on earth such food
		  bestowest, grant us with thy
		  Saints, though lowest, where
		  the heavenly feast thou showest,
		  fellow-heirs and guests to be.

		Amen.  Alleluia.

 In heavenly armor we'll enter the land
 the battle belongs to the Lord
 No weapons that are fashioned against us will stand
 the battle belongs to the Lord

 And we sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord
 we sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord..

    I am amazed by your love
    I am amazed by your mercy
    That the God of forever
    would share it together with me

    I am amazed that you chose me
    I am amazed that you show me
    The love of the Father
    taking me farther than anything I've ever seen
    I am amazed.

    Last night while driving we saw a storefront named, "Casket Outlet."
    It was advertised as if it were selling baby supplies. My sons thought
    it was rather tasteless, but I explained to them that with the laws
    that govern how we bury our dead it has created a money raping exercise
    for those who are in the business of death. I then said, guys when I
    die just do the cheapest even if it means cremate me. I don't care.
    Just don't go into debt over your emotions [unless you can afford it
    :-)] Matthew, my oldest and the deep thinker popped up and said,
    "Couldn't we cremate you ourselves?"

    Kerplunk my heart went, BWWaahahahaha my heart went! Son, I exclaimed
    why and how do you think you could do that? He said something about
    the indians did it. Anyway, it was funny. He was kidding.. but
    that kid of mine, where did he get his sense of humor???
14.7BIGQ::SILVAhttp://www.ziplink.net/~glen/decplus/Tue Jun 03 1997 12:5714

	My mom and dad went from wanting to be buried to wanting to be
cremated. They changed their minds as we grew up, we stopped living near them.
Most of us don't live in the same state. They are afraid no one would come and
visit them. When they told me that it did bring a chuckle to me because now we
will get to fight over who gets the ashes! :-)

	That same night they gave me something to sign. It was to be the person
who decides if the plug should be pulled or not if they are both
incompasitated. Not something I was thrilled about.

    Glen, that is tough to be in that position for another human being,
    especially a parent.

    But have you checked what you signed? Perhaps you just donated your
    inheritance to geriatric studies! :-)
14.11BIGQ::SILVAhttp://www.ziplink.net/~glen/decplus/Wed Jun 04 1997 09:163

    Yeah I know what you mean there. I was my father's only daughter, when

14.13some advice ...YASHAR::RONNIEBDebt Free! Thank You, Jesus!Wed Jun 04 1997 15:1415
    RE: .11 & .12, et.al.

    My StepDad (a banker all of his working life) had a similar problem
    when his mother named him Executor of her estate. After much time
    and financial difficulty (and familial difficulties!) he was able
    to probate her will and settle her estate. His advice to all who have
    ears to hear:

    "PLEASE, advise folks to use their local bank's Trust Department to be
    executor of the estate, for a specific fee. The bank will have bonded
    and licensed professionals who will gladly (and impartially!) help you."

    I hthy,

	Ron
14.14BIGQ::SILVAhttp://www.ziplink.net/~glen/decplus/Thu Jun 05 1997 11:465

	Luckily I'm not the executor of the estate. They made my sister that as
I did not want the headache of dealing with splitting everything up. I have
seen and heard of cases where that is a worst experience than the actual death.
14.15ORS1::JOHNSON_LThu Jun 05 1997 13:4415
    After my Mom died, my Dad went through the entire house with us and
    gave just about everything away. It was painful because it represented
    the breaking up of what had in a way always been home for us even
    though we all had homes of our own by then. However, I have been incredibly
    blessed with a family that cares much more for each other than we are
    concerned for things so there were no disagreements, fights, jealousy,
    or anything like that. My husband was amazed. What no one took was
    given away to needy people at my parent's church or in town. So the
    only part of my parents' estate that is left are monetary assets that are
    to split evenly between my parents' four daughters. My Dad sold the
    house, and after spending a month with us, left in his travel trailer.
    I am happy to say that he has since remarried and is no longer the
    lonely, wandering nomad he set off to be.

14.16Problems Accessing ChristianORS1::JOHNSON_LThu Jun 05 1997 13:5110
    I have been having a horrible time getting into the notes file from my
    normal account. The connection is incredibly slow and it disconnects
    all the time. I can access the file from else where okay. I don't have any
    problems with any other notes files from my normal account though. Any
    body have any clues as to what is going on? I'd rather not have a
    notebook in this account. My normal acocunt is on CPCOD which did
    change network areas about 3 weeks ago. Has YUKON updated its network
    address thing recently?

    Hi Leslie,

    I forwarded your concern to Jimgle, and I think he did run a
    "maintenance" if you will. You should have seen a better response
    time. Jim Glenn is the system manager, but I don't know if he reads
    here on any schedule. Try email to him.

14.18Final farewellAUSS::BELLCaritas Patiens estThu Jun 05 1997 20:3721
    This is my final farewell to you all, it will disappear in 7 days, and
    you can all forget me :-).

    It has been good to watch this conference and learn from the notes
    written here. Going to a local church, and other Christian activities
    in Sydney, we tend to chose those which fit in with our own
    interruptations of the Bible, here there is much more diversity, and
    the ocassional herasy :-). It is easy to be too dogmatic, and also easy
    to be too accepting of peoples views. But hold fast to the most
    important things:

    o Know God (not know about God)

    o Believe that Jesus Christ died to save you from YOUR sins, and
    returned from the dead.

    o Love each other, with the love that only God can provide.

    o Remember Faith.

Peter.

Hi Peter!

There is no 'final farewell' for those who are one in the LORD. I'm
tempted also to say that while I might forget names, I never forget faces,
but I'll resist it ;-) It has been good to meet you here, for the time the
LORD has given us together; knowing that our salvation is won by the work
of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross is a bond which nothing can sever.

May you know the LORD's richest blessing in all He is leading you into,
throughout your life.

				in Jesus' love
