I'm just curious...
what are the beliefs this denomination had that caused evangelicalism
to consider them nonchristian and what new beliefs did they embrace
that caused evangelicalism to consider them Christian?

I believe the WWCOG was a works-based religion who discovered the grace
of God in Christ.
