| G'day Kym,
We live in Merrimack, a town right next to Nashua. We have a Bible study
that meets at our house on Thursday nights which you are welcome to come
to. Phil Morano, a former Deccie and former Christian notes participant,
and his wife are part of the study. The rest of the folks are non-Digital
except for me. If you're interested in trying out a Messianic Jewish
synagogue, you'd be welcome to come to ours. We meet on Saturday morning
in Needham, MA. Its a little bit of a drive (about 50 minutes from Nashua),
but we think its worth it :-).
Leslie
Maybe lunch in Nashua somewhere could be arranged - I'd like to finally
meet Paul Weiss too.

Ain't it always the way. Work right near each other for years, and it takes
someone from the other side of the world coming by to get together...
I think it sounds like a great idea. There's a fair number of folk we could
get together for a luncheon.
Perhaps this is a good occasion for a CHRISTIAN noter's party?

for a while there I was not going but the last I heard I am going.
My time over there is getting taken up really quickly. Someone has
suggested that I visit NY in the middle weekend that I am there. this
sounds like a good idea as I would love to see NY. There are many
nights that I have free so if anyone would like me to cook them dinner
pleae let me know - I could even cook a Pavlova for you :-)
only 1.5 weeks to go.

Clarion which is now Crown Plaza - Speaker's Corner I think it was called in
Clarion days. What does everyone say? We leave for England at the end of
the week so a weekend or Friday evening gathering will be out for us. Can you
come to lunch on the 22nd - Kym, Paul, anybody else? I suppose somewhere
nearer to Exit 1 is also a possibility.

| Questions I have:
Where in NY are you going in the middle weekend (just curious)
Have you found places to worship yet on the first and third weekends?
Do you like getting up early? I do a bible study ever Wednesday morning at
6:00 that we'd love to have you join with us. :-)
Could other people attend a mid-week Noter's party? I'm guessing that Kym will
have most evenings as free as any other. I can't really do one on the first or
last weekends, and Kym's gone the middle one (actually, so am I). But there
are several Mon, Tue, or Wed nights I could plan a get-together at my house, if
people could come. Since no one else has stepped forward, I guess you'll all
have to come to NH. :-)
And Kym, even if no one else can come, you're invited to dinner, maybe multiple
times if schedules allow.
Unless we're going to have several lunches (which might not be a bad idea), I
think you're going to have to drive further south, Leslie. There aren't many
DEC folk in Merrimack any more. Even I usually have to drive south to meet
people.
If the location were relatively easily reached, who could attend a lunch on
Monday the 21st or Tuesday the 22nd?

I had the wonderful occasion of hearing Kym's voice last night which was the
end of my Thursday, but the start of his Friday. I don't think we'll hear any-
thing from him until Monday since its the weekend for the Australians now.

| Paul,
where in NY .....umm..well....the touristy places....and some shopping.
I have been told to go to 47th St photo to get some of the things that
I want.
If anyone knows someone in NY that would like to be a tour guide for a
day or so please let me know. I don't really want to be racing around
NY on my own but I will if I have to.
Leslie has some friend that go to a lutheran church so I'll be going to
church with them on the first weekend in the morning - the last weekend
has not been worked out yet.
Evenings would be good as I guess I'll just be sitting back at the
hotel killing time. Lunhc times could be a tad difficult as I don't
have a timetable yet.
Till later

| I was thinking the same thing, Peter. Trying to leave Boston at 5:30 on a

Now add being used to driving in a much congenial, polite, and less congested
setting, AND being used to driving on the other side of the road....

Monday the 21st is probably a hard day for lunch for most of the MA folks,
since it's a holiday. How does Tuesday the 22nd for lunch sound? We could try
to make it further south if there were a bunch of MA folk who wanted to come,
but since Leslie is one of the few who have expressed interest and she's NORTH,
and Kym is here in NH and worried about not having enough time for lunch, I
suggest here in Nashua.
We'd need to find from Kym what time he's available.
As far as evenings are concerned, I could do a Christian 'noter's party' at my
home on the evenings of Monday the 21st (perhaps it being a holiday would be a
HELP in this case?), or the evenings of Mon, Tue, Wed the 28-30. Would anyone
be able to come to one of these, or would it be just Kym and I? :-)

As it turns out, that week is a really busy one for me and my husband.
It is Pesach - and we have seders on Monday and Tuesday night, one at
the home of friends, and the second at our house. I will be in Salem
during the day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to do some appliation testing.
Thursday I have off to take the dogs to the kennel, laundry, and pack.
Friday morning we leave for England. So I don't think I am going to be able
to do anything. Kym is going to church with friends of ours (and I think I may
visit also, I've been meaning to) and then we are going to lunch/brunch on
Sunday. Due to the business of the week, I think that will be my only
opportunity to meet Kym.
Do you work at ZKO? Our group is moving to ZKO in May sometime. It would be
great to finally meet you.

| Well, I talked to Kym last night - he called from Australia. He's going to be
heading up to Maine from Nashua on Saturday to do some shopping, and was
wondering if he could stop by my place on Saturday evening, and I said "Sure,
why not?" He said that the rest of the first week looked very busy for him
(seminars all day, often going until 7:00 in the evening), but the second week
looked much more available. We may plan some other events with Kym during the
second week, but since he's going to be available the first Saturday he's
here...
Kym will be at my house on this Saturday evening, and any of the rest of you
who would like to join us are welcome. Kids are welcome too. Might as well
make an evening of it. Any time after 5:00, you're welcome to come. If you
come on the early side, bring something to share for dinner or to toss on a
grill, if you come later just bring yourselves. RSVP would be nice, but is
absolutely not required - if you decide at the last minute you can come, then
by all means do.
Directions to my house are simple:
Find Rt 93, and take it to exit 3 in NH, which says "Rt 111, Windham, Canobie
Lake." Or if you're coming from the Nashua area, just take Rt 111 east. If
you come from Rt 93, head east on Rt 111 off the exit. Almost immediately, you
will come to a T and stoplight, with a farm stand and golf driving range
directly in front of you. Take a left, which continues to be Rt 111. After
about a half mile, you will pass Ernie's Garage on the left. My house is right
on Rt 111, the second house after Ernie's. It's a beige house with big stone
posts out in front. It's #24 Range Road, and if you get lost my phone number
is 893-9624.
Hey Leslie - I know the rest of your week is hectic, but will Saturday work for
you? Maybe we don't have to wait for another couple of months to meet! :-)

| Well I made it back home again. Thanks heaps to the people I met - it
was great to meet you. I must give Paul Weiss a huge thank you for
looking after me while I was in Nashua. There is nothing like having
home cooked food on your first night away. One thing that I will
remember about Paul is his theology. One lunch time he said grace and
it came out something like this..
" Lord we thank you for this wonderful day. For you sun and you other
son ...."
- I didn't know that Jesus has a brother :-) :-)
Thanks must also go to John Covert for showing me Boston. Going to his
church was certainly an eye opener.
Eating at Steve Vore's place was certainly....umm interesting. Firstly
the kids wanted me to continually play with them ( ok ok so I'm a kid
at heart ). I was told that we were going to have freshly cooked bread
when it had finished cooking - sometime later i happened to comment
that i though it odd that they smoked bread.....after much running
around I found out that smoked bread is not what they were aiming for.
Beware of eating at the Vore's....take a book :-) .....well not
really...its just that because we were chatting so much ( and the pie
too ages to cook ) the meal ended up lasting 2.5 hrs. Remember to
challenge Steve to a game of one on one ( basketball ).
I have set up a web page with some photo's of the people that I met
http://www.stl.dec.com/~schwarz/trip/
enjoy...
Love
Kym
Ps I found out today that I might be going to france for training later
this year so look out you europeans ;-) :-)

| Hey, the bread was just fine Kym. The smoke turned out to be
misleading, never did find the source. It was great having you over.
Just think of the pause between dinner & pie as 'time to digest and
share each other's company'
