Our family has a praise from this weekend. Friday night my daughter
Amber took a nasty spill off her bike. The pain and bruises on her
left arm made us think it was broken. The doctor in the emergency room
thought it was broken too, but still ordered x-rays. The whole time we
were praying for her while waiting in the emergency room. After an
hour or so we noticed the swelling going down and the bruises getting
smaller. God continued to move and by the time the x-rays were taken,
the results were no breaks or fractures!

A glorious thing happened at our church this week. The Holy Spirit showed up
at the youth group meeting last Monday night (the 10th)!

They were just having a 'normal' meeting, the only thing out of the ordinary
was that a few of the kids had gone on a reatreat last weekend. They sang
some songs and went into a time of prayer, which usually lasts five minutes
or so. An hour and a half later the leaders were calling parents and letting
them know that their kids wouldn't be home for a while! Without any sort of
buildup or intention, kids were just breaking down in confession to one
another, breaking down the walls of cliques in the group, weeping and
laughing with one another as the Holy Spirit swept through the room. You
should have seen them sharing the testimony of it! They were just about
falling over one another they were all so eager to tell what God had done.
Teenage boys eager to tell of how the Spirit had made them cry... I can't
wait to see what God has next...

Wow! Paul! I just caught this Praise from you and read it completely.
Can you imagine the change in this nation should our youth begin to
experience the real manifestation of God's Holy Spirit working in their
    lives????

Thank God for churches that reach out and embrace our young people of
    today.

I just have to tell you guys, God answered some prayer for me over the
last 5 days that I actually prayed for over 1 year ago. I didn't know
how he was going to do it, but He did!!

Thank you Jesus for your faithfulness to me. For once again showing me
you are real and you are God.

    Amen.

This is a praise report from my friend Lisa giving an update on Lee's
baby. It's been hard since they are getting moved from Hospital list
to hospital list, but God has his reasons and they are proof enough
below. Praise God!

Rose.

**************************************************************************

Rose,

GOODMORNING! Praise God! Lee and the baby are leaving for Nebraska at 10:30
this morning and the outlook is excellent! Apparently this hospital has
performed 3 liver transplants on 3 babies with Neonatal Chromosome Disease
(which is the rare disease our little buddy Dustin has) and all three were
successful! Two of the babies are home and 1 is recovering the hospital!
Praise God! (The hospital in Georgia did not have this experience with this
type of disease, the Lord works in mysterious ways!) Anyway, that's the
good news today! Have a great day!

Lots of Love,

Lisa :-)

Thank you, Lord, for stopping my car before I smacked into the car in front
 of me this morning.

I'd hit a patch of snow right about the time everybody in front of me slammed
on their brakes. I thought for sure I was going to be in a wreck!

We've had a few days fog over the UK, and today's paper reported a
110-vehicle pile-up on a motorway we were travelling, in Sunday evening's
fog.

Grateful that we were spared that, but 62 were injured, needing prayer. The
aerial photograph showed how burnt out the mass of wreckage was - it
included a petrol (gas?) tanker - so it a matter of praise that only 3
people died. But for their closest, it's not the number - it's the person.
More needing prayer there.

As I consider the recent behavior of my youngest, I have
    	to praise God.

On Andrew's third birthday, it happened to be his turn to
say grace. He usually prays, "Dear God, thank you for our
food, thank you for everything, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen."

On that night, he prayed, "Dear God, thank you for my birthday,
thank you for my presents, thank you for the toy that Patty
gave me, thank you for our food, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen."

We were floored. His first prayer "from the heart"!

A couple of nights later, after we read a bible story about
creation, Andrew asked if he could say a prayer. He thanked
God for the sun, the moon, the stars, the animals, and the
    	trains ;-)

It's so remarkable to see evidence in our children that even
when they appear to not be listening, they really are, and are
learning. It's so special to see their hearts inclined towards
    	God.

My boys were given a toy electric guitar for Christmas, causing my wife
and I to cringe, of course. This past weekend, they were downstairs
"playing" it (they're only 6 & 8, with not much musical training :-)
and we were upstairs trying not to hear the noise. Anyway... after a
while I went downstairs and found them sitting side by side doing the
worst rendition of "Jesus loves me, this I know" I've ever heard -- and
    I loved it!
