I've found a very strange behavior with FOCUS 6.8.4. (AXP).
I have a very big file (FOCUS intermediate file, RMS format) with 2000000
records.
I want to sum prices by a key of this file. The price is 0 if a certain
criteria is met,
or the price, if not.
The result is surprising. I would expect to have one record by key with the
form
"key price". But for some values of the key, I have two records. The sum is
not complete. If I have 3 prices for this value, the first record is the sum
of the first two prices and second is the third price.
The files are RMS files without index. The problem occurs with different key
values when running several times.
Thanks for the help.
Domi.
